The Filmmakers:

lindsay van dyke, director/PRODUCER

Lindsay Van Dyke is a filmmaker, researcher, and consultant working on her first feature length documentary, Guest, about the U.S Guestworker program that she started during her Fulbright Fellowship in Mexico from 2014-2015. She first started in film working under director Robbie Leppzer (Director, An Act Of Conscience) and Christopher Seward (Editor, Fahrenheit 9/11, Sicko) on Power Struggle, a documentary associated with HBO. Since then she has directed a number of short narrative films, commercial videos, and short documentaries. Her videos to date have been featured in a variety of publications including Oprah, NPR, Paste Magazine, Upworthy, and The Huffington Post.

She currently lives in Brooklyn and is working on America Divided, a docuseries examining inequality in the U.S. The show is executive produced by Norman Lear, Shonda Rhimes and Common.

alex reynaud, director of photography

Alex Z. Reynaud was born in Mexico. He earned a B.A. with honors in Media Communications, specializing in Filmmaking and Cinematography, from the Universidad Iberoamericana. He has experience in feature films, commercials, music videos, documentaries, and Steoreoscopic 3D. He has predominantly worked in Mexico, but recently has had projects in the U.S. (New York and Washington, DC), Europe (Prague, Czech Republic, Berlin, Germany, and Athens, Greece), and South America (Bogotá, Colombia). He teaches the Cinematography class in the Digital Film & Post Production Program at SAE Institute Mexico.
